Also serving as the Privacy Policy, because the Commissioner was told the site needed one and this was the only document he was willing to write. Last amended: whenever Oregon last won.
The Conference consists of the Oregon Ducks (founding member, Commissioner's office), the Georgia Bulldogs (founding member, Appeals Committee), and Norway (admitted under the Coastal Technicality Clause, Norway having a great deal of coast). Membership is permanent. Nobody has figured out how to leave.
When you visit, your browser sends the usual things a browser sends: the page requested, the time, your IP address, and your user agent. These may be logged by the Conference's hosting provider and, if you consent, by the Conference's measurement tools. We do not collect your name unless you type it into the protest form, and even then it stays in your browser. The protest form has no backend. It pushes an event to the dataLayer and feels good about itself.
Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you make a choice in the banner. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key ppac_consent_v1 and is honored on every page. You may change it at any time via “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer. Norway maintains that it invented consent. Georgia maintains that consent is a formality. Oregon has not responded.
Strictly necessary. Keeping the site working and Oregon in first place. Cannot be disabled. Analytics. Understanding which pages are viewed, how often the protest form is filed, and by which program. Marketing. Not currently used. Exists so the sandbox can test what happens when it is. Fjord weather. Allows Helgi to track conditions in Norway for the purpose of postponing Week 3 indefinitely.
This domain exists so Outside Communications can test consent-gated measurement end to end: a Google Tag Manager web container, Consent Mode v2 defaults set before any tag loads, and a first-party server-side endpoint (planned at commissioner.ppsandbox.com) that receives events only in categories you have granted. Tags are configured to fire nothing in a denied category. If one does, that is a bug, and Georgia will file an appeal about it.
Depending on your choices, data may be sent to Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) and to Cloudflare, which hosts and proxies this site and sees requests in the ordinary course of doing so. No data is sold. No data is shared with the Big Ten, the SEC, or UEFA, none of whom have returned our calls.
You may withdraw consent, request what we hold about you (nothing, see Article II), or file a protest. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws have the rights those laws provide. Residents of Norway have the rights the GDPR provides, plus the right to point out that they had those rights first.
Final. Not subject to appeal. Appeals may be filed anyway and will be acknowledged with a protest number and denied.
Office of the Commissioner, c/o Outside Communications. Correspondence regarding privacy will be answered. Correspondence regarding the standings will be framed.
